Harvest.

Nothing makes me crow like eggplant.

Everything is growing; the grass, the garden, the kids.  It's overwhelming, it's amazing.

Now We Are Four

Retta Stewart Harvey, born May 1.  She arrived like a freight train in just over an hour and a half.  She is long and large, just like her big brother.  I feel like a million bucks.

Nasturtiums to pussy willow, quite a lot of things passed between the two.  From high harvest to eggplant seeds sprouting in our house.  A baby will be here soon.

July

June, you were very nice: our small human turned three, we traveled far and wide, B and I have now been married for five full and lovely years, I cut off a lot of hair, and I went to school to learn how to make a movie.  A lot.  July, I am not quite ready for you, but since you have been leaving the best cucumbers we've ever grown on my porch, I'll put on my party face.
